クラシックや童謡もいいけれど、ダンス・ミュージックだってそれが“楽しく、心揺さぶられる音楽”でありさえすれば子どもたちは喜んで受け入れるはず。そんなコンセプトのもと、近年親子で出掛けられるディスコ・イベントが世界中で増殖中。ここ東京でも、子どもたちが新しい音楽に出会い、流れる音に心を解放し、積極的に体感するーーそんな空間を提供するレギュラー・イベントであり、新しい形のインスタレーションとも言える「KID’S DISCO」がスタート。’09年10月25日、日曜日の昼下がりに「KID’S DISCO VOL.1」は開催されました。コンセプトに共感し、出演を快諾していただいたフォトグラファーのHIROMIX／dj senorina(G.RINA)/MAYU from 80kidzという３組のアーティストが、ロックからエレクトロ、ワールド、ダブまでをプレイ。いつもより少しフォーマルな格好でお出掛けし、心のままに踊った子どもたちの心にはスペシャルななにかが残ったに違いありません。家族で音楽を楽しむとともに、同じ琴線をもつ親同士との交流もできるKID’S DISCOは、新しい親子のライフスタイルの象徴と言えるでしょう。このイベントにご賛同いただき、参加していただける皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。
What kinds of music do normally kids listen to or fond of listening?
An easy answer will be nursery rhymes or classical stuff but if you watch closely to how kids react to music in general, as long as it touches them, anything from
trendy distortion disco to funky hip hop, whatever it is you’ll easily find out that kids will react purely to anything enjoyable and start dancing. For some reason, there are only limited opportunities for kids to actually experience such music. Therefore we will like to create and provide a brand new conceptual party, a sensuous experience especially for kids, named “KID’S DISCO”.
Have proven that this concept totally works, not only in Japan but rather world wide, we will like to continue to provide the experience regularly. “KID’S DISCO VOL.1” was held last year, on Oct. 25th inviting Hiromix (Photographer), DJ Senorina (a.k.a. G.Rina) and Mayu(ex-80kidz) who all empathically communicated amongst others, rocking electro, world, dub tracks to the kids direct. We are confident that the event itself provided a memorable experience for all the kids and
parents involved on that day, and would say it’s a brand new style of a fruitful parenthood communication.
Now it’s time for VOL.2!
Once again, we strongly invite you to a brand new way of parent-child communication along with some exciting great music.

ウィスット・ポンニミット/Wisut Ponnimit

MOODMAN
DJ。日本生まれ。ムード音楽をこよなく愛する男。'80年代末にDJ活動を始め、複数のレーベルを設立。アヴァンギャルド・ミュージックを頻発し、国内外で高い評価を受ける。99年には、宇川直宏、高橋透とのリビング・レジェンド・パーティー[GODFATHER ]を始動。[ HOUSE OF LIQUID]ではレジデントをつとめ、Mixroofficeで新たなレギュラー・パーティー［ MOODMANOW!!］をスタートするなど、東京の地下ダンスシンジケートを牽引し続けている。TOWA TEI監修のMixCD『MOTIVATION 6 Adult Oriented Click Nonstop-Mix by MOODMAN』では、クリック／ミニマルテクノをムードミュージックの解釈で編集し、話題をさらった。www.myspace.com/moodmanjp
