"I think, therefore I exist." was replaced by "I want to be loved, so I exsist." by Gi-Onara-Suikomitai.
"Moteki" started here and the writer Kubo has come to the point, "I'll appreciate the fact that I am not loved by anyone."
I fancy that might mean "I am not loved, so I exist.".
Though I don't know about Jules very much, I guess this way of thinking is quite similar to that of them.
It's a paradox.
